Piratical Paws Helping A Cause

The Mystic Crew of Maravedi held their “ARRF” event in order to raise funds to help underwrite the cost of spaying & neutering pets in need. The Crew sponsored a “Yappy Hour” as donation envelopes were dropped off . “Sweet Melissa’s” also collected donations of food & cleaning products for the Humane Society on behalf of the “ARRF”.
On April 27th, 2009, the “Pet Vet Cruiser” was the recipient of the monies that “ARRF” raised. These funds were then dispersed among those that qualified for the services of “Pet Vet Cruiser”.
Pirates met the Cruiser at the OakBrook Plaza to present them with a Treasure Chest of “Booty” as well as a check for $1300.00. This humble donation paid for the following services:
Cat Neuter 7
Cat Spay 6
Dog Neuter 3
Dog Spay 7
Cat Rabies Vaccination 13
Dog Rabies Vaccination 7
County tags 17
During these trying times, it was a Piratical Pleasure to be able to assist these families with the care of their Pets!
